If you are having an issue with filing an EIC on a return, verify these things:
-Valid Social Security Number for both Taxpayer and any dependents.
-Address must be domestic, not foreign.
-Check the dependent box in the Client Data form.
-In the 8867, verify the last box that says "Taxpayer is not eligible to claim EIC due to a prior year disallowance" is unchecked.
